It's a family affair to borrow a lyric. Paul, Sharon and Ken are a clan of vinyl lovers. It took nine months to get the shop fit for opening with the help of family and friends. Dorset tattooist and street artist Timmer created the striking wall painting. Inspired upcycling by the crew completed the interior.
The eclectic range of vinyl is incredible, Paul is always on the hunt for stock. I love digging through the 7 inch Soul records. I rarely leave without buying something. Paul takes an interest in his customers tastes. He kept a My Bloody Valentine album behind the counter for me for months!
The Beat & Track supports local musicians, the shop has regular music events. Dorset musicians The Puffins and Nick Coleman have their realises on the shelves. Dorset creatives are supported in store. skater enthusiasts SKKRRBS, painter Mark Beard and 2000ad scribe Kek W have their work in full effect.
