I arrived early at Wimborne's Walford mill for a day class with Donna Peters. She is a talented screen printer with years of experience. She is the woman behind The print room studio.
The last time I did any printing was at Taunton college back in 2000. Needless to say I was a little rusty. Donna put me at ease with Tea and biscuits, She is an American citizen and certainly gone native. Her studio is decorated with beautiful screen prints of our late Queen Lizzie.
I first chose a few ink colours to work with. I had three designs I wanted to print. My Halloween bats, my Monkey logo and my 'Keep it local' print.
